Palma de Mallorca, July 21, 2022.- Grupo Piñero, a Spanish tourism company with almost 50 years of history, has appointed Ricardo Moreno as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mobility, Incoming & Leisure. He will lead both the inbound Coming2 - a brand integrated in the Travel division - and all the companies that make up the Group's Services division (Solbus, Priego, Embat Turiscar, Emos and Scubaquatic). Thus, through this new division, the Group materializes its commitment to promote electric and sustainable mobility, as well as to continue developing its inbound services and commercialization of at-destination leisure activities.

With extensive experience in the tourism sector, Ricardo Moreno has spent most of his professional career in leading companies such as Sol Meliá, Travelider, Mundicolor and Pullmantur, among others. He joined Grupo Piñero in 2018 as general manager of Coming2, a Group company that offers incoming services at destinations, and in 2020 he also became general manager of Turiscar, the Group's brand dedicated to developing integrated solutions for electric mobility at destinations, which, together with the Swedish company Inzile, led to the joint venture Emos Caribbean, which will focus its activity on the marketing of 100% electric mobility solutions in the hotel and tourism sector. The Group has also recently entrusted Moreno with the management of the Services division.

Now, as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mobility, Incoming & Leisure of Grupo Piñero, Moreno will be a member of the Executive Committee, the body that consults with and advises the CEO on the Group's strategic decisions.

I am taking on this new position with the same respect and responsibility with which I have faced every challenge during my time at Grupo Piñero,” said Ricardo Moreno regarding his new position as Chief Operating Officer (COO) Mobility, Incoming & Leisure of Grupo Piñero. To which he adds, “to add value to the Group, to ensure that the customer experience is complete and to contribute to the Group's sustainability strategy, and to that of the tourism sector in general, are the goals I have set for myself in this new role I have been entrusted with. It is without a doubt a great challenge, but at the same time, a great opportunity to continue collaborating in the evolution of Grupo Piñero.”
