Palma, 29 September 2021.- Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts resumes the operations of all its establishments on the island of Tenerife. In view of the promising sales prospects in the main European markets, the company will reopen the doors of Bahia Principe Sunlight Tenerife on 1 October and Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe on 1 November.
Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts thus continues to advance its plan of gradual reopenings in all the destinations in which it operates, safeguarding the health and well-being of guests and staff alike. It now has a total of 14 hotels open - five in the Dominican Republic, four in Spain, three in Mexico and two in Jamaica.
In the words of Antonio Teijeiro, Chief Operating Officer of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, “We are delighted to offer our clients two more hotels in Tenerife, in addition to the three we already have open and operating in Spain, and this is obviously a consequence of the positive evolution of the sector and the good sales performance of all the European markets, including the German and English markets, which are very important for this destination. We are witnessing a gradual recovery of the tourism sector as a result of advances in vaccination and the easing of mobility restrictions, but above all because of people's desire to travel. Nevertheless, at Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts we continue to work to guarantee a safe environment for our clients and employees, always complying with all health protocols.”
The Bahia Principe Sunlight Tenerife hotel, located in the municipality of Adeje, in the south of the island, simulates the typical architecture of a Canary Island village. This all-inclusive establishment offers guests a holiday experience in an exceptional cliff-top location. Similarly, the Bahia Principe Sunlight San Felipe hotel, located in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, in the north of the island, is situated in a unique enclave overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Both establishments offer multiple organised activities for children and adults, a wide gastronomic offer, spa service, and all the other
services to provide an unforgettable experience for their clients. Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with HS Consulting, has adapted its standards to the new hygienic-sanitary needs produced by the pandemic in all its business units, in order to guarantee a safe environment and correct compliance with the regulations of each of the countries and destinations where it operates, the recommendations of the WHO and the protocols of the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) and the Spanish Institute for Tourism Quality (ICTE).
