Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Receives 11 TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts, the leading all-inclusive resort brand with properties in the Caribbean and Spain, has been recognized with 11 Certificates of Excellence from TripAdvisor for 2019. Three of the brand’s resorts received the recognition for the first time including the brand’s newest property – Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar in Punta Cana.

To qualify for a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, brands must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five stars, hold a minimum number of TripAdvisor reviews and be listed on the platform for at least 12 months. The awarded Bahia Principe properties for the TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence were chosen based on the platform’s quality and quantity of opinions published by users.

Three of Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts properties received this recognition for the first time including, Luxury Bahia Principe Sian Ka'an, the five-star adults only resort located in Riviera Maya, Mexico, with more than 400 rooms, four swimming pools and four restaurants, among other spaces. Secondly, the five-star Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar, which recently debuted after a $30 million dollar renovation. The third property to receive this recognition for the first time is the family-friendly Sunlight Bahia Principe Coral Playa, a four-star property located on the Mallorcan coast.

Eight other properties were recognized, including Sunlight Bahia Principe Costa Adeje in Spain, Luxury Bahia Principe Akumal in Mexico and six properties in the Dominican Republic: Grand Bahia Principe Aquamarine, Luxury Bahia Principe Bouganville, Grand Bahia Principe El Portillo, Grand Bahia Principe Cayacoa, Luxury Bahia Principe Samana and Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado.

These TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence add to other valuable recognitions the brand has received this year from the platform, including the Travelers' Choice Award, which distinguished Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado as the best all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean.
